"Little Man" is available @ stud. Fee $200.00. At 3 and 1/2 years old, I just ran him 12 hours in the pen and even put fresh dogs in at daybreak. We also had two of his daughters running with him. "Little Man" is tough and will produce tough. He is not retired and you are welcome to come and try to make him quit. Please do not be offended by such bold claims as he will back up what I have stated. He will also be near the front, not just sniffing leaves all night. Offspring from this hound and a worthy gyp will keep your hounds in the race with anyone's hounds. Thanks for your consideration.
"Little Man" has finished the 2010 July National, placing 10 All Age HGA. This was a very tough hunt to finish. The hunt was held at the Big Valley 640 acre enclosure. The combination of very fast, competitive hounds and grueling terrain, made it extremely difficult. Only 12 All Age hounds finished the 3 days in this hunt. If you were there, "Little Man" wore # 211 for the hunt. "Little Man" also sired our 5th place Derby HGA hound. She ran 3 hours beyond call off time on day one, yet really cranked it on for day two. We had a judge at the hunt offer to buy her after the hunt was over. She is not for sale and will represent Tri State/Oak Ridge Julys at future hunts.
"Little Man" just placed 4th in the AA @ the Butler County hunt held in the Big Valley. "Little Man" turned 4 in Feb. of this year. We feel this was a very good showing for a hound his age in a very tough pen and a competitive field of hounds.
"Little Man" sired the 1st and 3rd place hounds in the Sep. "anything born 2010" hunt at Bristle Ridge. These two pups have a head full of desire. The first place hound was competeing on a badly cut rear main pad. He never gave any indication of being hurt. These are the kind of hounds "Little Man" sires.
We did not run "Little Man" in the 2011 July National. We did run offspring of "Little Man". Two of his pups placed 4th and 8th. The 4th place hound, Skyylah's Hairy Barry, was high scored S&D AA hound the 3rd day. Barry is without a doubt, the hardest going, coyote driving machine that I have owned in 50 years with hounds.
