    Here is a photo taken in April of 1971 with "Ginger", of Ginger's Ridge Fame. Also shown are Becky Gordee, Myself, and some trophies won at an outside field trial in Neilsville, WI. Make no mistake about it, this little hound could shag a Red Fox! She put me in the running hound game and made me a believer in July running hounds.

Something New

As much as we all hate change, I need to try something new. Due to increased demands on training time here at the ridge, I am going to implement the following changes on a trial basis:

Ginger’s Ridge will begin immediately to have open puppy running on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Until hot weather arrives, cast time will be at 7 AM. No one turns loose before that time and no one casts after that time! Be here by 7AM! Puppies are 12 months age and younger. I do not want to see dogs in their prime of life, hustling my coyotes by sight all over the enclosure. Catch up time is 12 noon. As is always the case, this is for Ginger’s Ridge members only. If you haven’t paid a membership and signed the one time accident waiver, you do not belong here. If this turns into a situation that requires me to baby sit in order to enforce the guidelines, I will cancel the experiment. Cost per pup will be $5.00.

General Guidelines

The pen can still be rented  NIGHTS. Call for scheduling. Ginger’s Ridge members only. Cast time is at dark unless otherwise agreed upon. Please try to catch up dogs at daybreak. Cost will be $7.00 per dog. Do not expect to have the place to yourself unless you specify that and agree to the $75.00 minimum. All normal rules apply.
